Why the price?​

​

This is the cost of the program to the outpost or host family. If you feel called to this program and the finances is the only barrier, please let us know. We do not want this to be the thing holding you back.

What am I getting out of this cost?

 

The things included in the price are listed above. These are things like: group meals (super yummy), a home (super cozy), group excursions (super fun), educational coaching (super valuable)... If you think about it... you're splitting your time primarily between work and the included SOMA activities and events. You won't need extra cash for much else!

What is not included in the cost?

 

We will provide about 8 group meals a month, but you must buy the rest of your food for your kitchen and any other individual or self-planned outings which can potentially be shared with your fellow SOMA peeps.

 

Do I have to pay the monthly fee during the mission trip?

No you do not!

Does this include the mission trip funds?

​

No it does not. But we will help you work out a fundraising plan for the mission trip if needed.

Do you have Financial Aid?

​

If it is impossible for you to pay this amount, please let us know. We will work with you on some sort of financial plan and possible ways of lowering the cost. ​

How does this compare with other options?

​

• If this is a replacement for college for you, we are 7x cheaper. You're welcome.

• This is the average cost of renting a nice apartment, which you're getting plus you get all the extra perks!

• We are helping you find a job, giving you a community, and you will have a personalized educational plan!
